The PPRN team

PPRN is a collaboration between three London universities.

Our Executive Committee is made up of doctoral students from King’s College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, and University College London.

Vanessa
Cheng-Matsuno

Vanessa is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Government at LSE. She is interested in understanding how civil servants and public employees determine state capacity. Her research investigates the overlap between the informal roles of politicians and bureaucrats.

Alice Moore

Alice is a doctoral candidate in the UCL Department of Political Science and a researcher in the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation at LSE. Her doctoral research investigates how relationships between governments and external contractors affect public service quality.

Nina Weber

Nina is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London. Her research focuses on prosocial preferences and economic inequalities. Specifically she is interested in how concerns about procedural fairness affect preferences and behaviour.
